Cracking day at Cooden. Nice to see Baydrew, usurf and Jon Harmer, plus the usual bunch. Arrived at about 12.30 to very on off wind. A mix of sails from 7m to my 5.7m and all were fine in the gusts and none in the lulls, so I'm glad I rigged small. After an hour, the wind started to pick up to almost perfect conditions. Sunny, windy and warm enough for a shorti - lovely
Had a fairly good test of usurf's Cross 106 vs my Syncro 103. Much gentler ride and deceptively fast. Really flattering on the gybes. Syncro definitely more lively, but both lovely boards.
